Step into an immersive world of rope art, where movement becomes meaning and every tie tells a story. Shibari Unveiled: Immersion invites you to experience the living practice of rope through a weekend of performances, hands-on workshops, and community exchange.
Whether you're a seasoned rigger, an eager beginner, or simply rope-curious, this event offers something for every level of experience — from foundational technique to expressive flow. Meet others in the community, browse handcrafted gear at our Fetish Market, and witness powerful performances by international and local artists, including a special appearance by Unnamed Minor, a visiting Bangkok rigger.

*What is Shibari?*
Shibari is a Japanese art form of intricate rope bondage, tracing its origins to the ancient tradition of Hojojutsu, a method of restraining prisoners during the Edo period. It evolved into an artistic practice in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, influenced by Kinbaku, a style of erotic bondage. Today, Shibari can encompass both artistic and erotic elements, emphasising aesthetics, trust, and connection between partners.
